The Vale of Rheidol railway is a commercial company that offers two daily journeys from Aberystwyth station to Devil's Bridge. It runs up the left-hand side of the valley of the river Rheidol to the village of Devil's bridge. It is a very scenic route, and money and effort has been expended to make it so.

Devil's Bridge itself is nowadays three bridges. The bottom one is medieval, the middle one Victorian, and the upper one twentieth century. A series of pretty waterfalls and potholes makes it an interesting afternoon out.
